1- In 1941, "Sweet Roses of Morn" was arranged by Phil Embury and distributed as the society's first official arrangement.

2- The first district in the society was the Michigan District, organized on June 8, 1940. What is noteworthy about this district is the fact that it has not existed since 1968 when it was renamed the Pioneer District, reflecting its importance in the early history of the society.

3- The society emblem was adopted in 1944. My source did not indicate who the designer was. If anyone knows, please inform me and it will appear in a future quiz.
