2- What did the top 15 quartets in the 1942 competition win?

3- What did the 1943 champs win? For extra credit, name this quartet and the current location of their prize.

Answers to Barbershop History - General Knowledge Quiz:

1- The Barflies were given a check for fifty bucks. Those quartets that came in fourth place or lower were each given boxes of throat lozenges. Was there a message there?

2- A wooden coffee table emblazoned with the Society logo. I am not making this up. You can find it on the Society website; I did. Fifteen coffee tables seems rather extravagant, doesn't it? Maybe a society member was in the wholesale furniture business!

3- A 20" X 24" oil portrait of the quartet painted by society member, Dick Sturges. The champs that year were the Four Harmonizers. The painting remains on display to this day in Harmony Hall.
